I have been working on small things lately, still learning lots about flash. My idea is to make a game somewhat like Mario and I would like to work on it over the Summer since I have so much extra time. I have been thinking about ideas of what the character could be but if you have any ideas for the game it would be cool if you commented them. Thanks!

Over Spring break I have been working on a little pea shooter game. I watched a few YouTube videos and it taught me the basics on how to make this little project. I am trying to get some pictures of the things I am making but I am having a little trouble. So hopefully I can put those up here soon.

Last night I started messing around on Flash and made a little something it is just a skateboard rolling down the road with a guy doing a flip on the top it is not much and it is just a loop but it is a start and a good way to learn how flash really works.

So recently I have felt like the raspberry pi is getting a little repetitive and boring so I talked to Mr. Eckert and my parents. My project is changing to learning Adobe Flash which is a tool that helps create games and animations I have not decided which I am going to do yet but I am shifting toward a game. I know this is very late to change but I'm not enjoying it so I think it's better this way. Hopefully this one works out better.

This week our grant stuff came in. Now I have my screen, my keyboard and my WIFI USB. I can now start making the actual device which I am very excited about. I started getting the WIFI setup so now I can go on the internet which opens up a lot more opportunities.

Over the weekend I got the Raspberry Pi from the store. I hooked it up to my TV through HDMI. This will not be my permanent screen that I use but I have not found one yet. I downloaded an operating system for it called Raspbian and it works really well. I am planning on getting a 3.5 inch touch screen, a mini wireless keyboard and a USB WiFi dongle. Here are the links to what I am getting if you are interested Screen, Keyboard, USB wifi dongle.
